Another poor circumstance is having time and not using it properly, and you only acknowledge it on your deathbed, regretting everything you ever did. Of course, we know of people who lived for over ten decades that died with no regrets, but do we really know how time can be in our favor every day? What we decide to do with our time should not be done carelessly. It is easy to determine whether someone will end up in a bad or good place by just looking at their schedule.
What you do in between the years on your headstone should be valuable to you. Successful people and the ones who do not always move forward have something in common: time. As human beings, no matter our social class, we have the opportunity to utilize time in our favor. If you have found yourself falling behind, depending on which part of the world you live in, know that some countries only have five days a week to work, while other people have to multitask just to get to where they want and need. You are not alone. When I first got to the United States, I had to stay up for as long as 22 hours a day for a year just to pick up the necessary skills to craft the path of success I always wanted.
If you wish to prioritize your time, you should:
- Stay consistent
- Accomplish something every minute or every hour
- Eliminate distractions
- Prioritize that which keeps you moving forward
- Follow any other advice that suits you
