There are times you can break down without you being aware of it, and if we had the chance to give attention to one thing in particular in your life, I would say to discipline the mind. Consider your mind as the wheel of your ship; if you have no control of your ship, the ocean will control it for you. In other words, the mind cannot take care of itself; your mind just follows the outside and inside factors such as how you feel or the circumstances that hit you.
Don’t be the one to follow a path I took at an early age. Although I became creative and knowledgeable about certain aspects of life, I lost my speaking skills, which I need to work on repeatedly to have back, whether I am speaking my native language or other languages that I have learned. Spending years of not speaking with others only destroyed me. As I move forward in life, I have had to work on my thinking process and relearn so many things. I had to make up for all the time I decided not to take care of myself to reach my goals, only to have me stuck in between my past and the present. So nothing we do on this earth does not have a consequence over our body or mind. Did I create the opportunity to become financially, emotionally, and physically independent during the two and a half decades that I have on this earth as I am writing this right now? Well, yes. But I now have to connect a couple of dots as I move forward and look backward in order to control the mind.
